Some people may not know their birth time. An astrologer can draw a rectified birth chart, and this should give a birth time.

The way it works is, the Astrologer makes note of or follows along through the major events of ones life, and in doing this pinpointing the rising sign.

You have read on our pages that each zodiac sign makes up 30 degrees on the zodiac circle. You should also know that because of the Earth's angle the signs don't come up in the same measure of time.

We end up with faster and slower rising signs. If you were born in the Southern hemisphere your zodiac sign takes a (short ascension=fast). If you were born in the Northern hemisphere your zodiac sign will take a (long ascension=slow).

One last thing, these tables are for all years. You should try to use a correct birth time. If you don't have that, try a good guess.
